Dashboard Overview

The Mantis dashboard provides at-a-glance visibility into deployment activity, resource status, and system health.

Dashboard Layout

The dashboard is the default landing page after login:

Dashboard Components

Welcome Card

The welcome card displays:

• Greeting with user’s display name
• Quick action button for new deployments

Statistics Panel

The main statistics panel shows:

Total Deployments	Count of deployments in the selected period
Succeeded	Deployments that completed successfully
Failed	Deployments that failed
Running	Currently executing deployments
Avg Duration	Average deployment execution time

Success Rate

Visual progress bar showing the percentage of successful deployments:

For administrators, shows tenants ranked by deployment activity:

Target Health

Overview of deployment target status:

Online	Green	Target is connected and healthy
Stale	Yellow	Target hasn’t checked in recently
Offline	Red	Target is disconnected

Live Updates

The dashboard updates in real-time via Server-Sent Events (SSE):

Connection status is shown in the header:

Status	Badge	Description
Connected	🟢 Live	Real-time updates active
Connecting	🟡 Connecting…	Establishing connection
Reconnecting	🟡 Connecting…	Connection lost; auto-reconnect (exponential back-off) in progress
Disconnected / Failed	(none)	No live updates; connection closed or max retries (10) exceeded — click refresh to reload manually

Tip

If the live indicator disappears, click the refresh button to reload statistics manually.

Global vs Tenant Dashboard

Global Dashboard (Administrators)

Administrators see aggregated statistics across all tenants:

• Total deployments across all tenants
• Top tenants by activity
• Global resource counts
• Cross-tenant activity feed

Tenant Dashboard

Non-admin users see statistics scoped to their tenant:

• Deployments for their tenant only
• Resources within their tenant
• Tenant-specific activity

Note

The dashboard automatically adjusts based on your role and tenant assignment.

The dashboard displays counts of key resources:

Refreshing Data

Manual Refresh

Click the refresh button to reload all statistics:

Automatic Refresh

When live updates are connected:

• Statistics update automatically on changes
• No manual refresh needed
• Connection status shows “Live”

If connection is lost:

1. The dashboard retains the last-fetched data
2. The SSE client attempts automatic reconnection with exponential back-off
3. Manual refresh is available as a fallback
